【2025年8月27日，香港】由中國香港排球總會主辦之「2025亞洲東區女子排球錦標賽」，今日（8月27日）在香港伊利沙伯體育館舉行第二日賽事。位處A組的中國香港隊在主場球迷吶喊助威下，首仗激戰五局以 3：2 反勝蒙古隊，篤定出線四強，明天將與中華台北隊爭奪小組首名。衛冕的中國隊則在B組登場，以直落3局輕取韓國隊，打響頭炮。
中國香港隊在首兩局因主場壓力發揮未如理想，兩局均僅負兩分，但在第三局落後4分下及時調整，一度反超前。雖然錯失兩個取得局分機會，被蒙古隊追至「刁時」，更落後過25-26，跌入落敗邊緣。但接應二傳沈嵐抵住壓力，果斷強攻觸手出界，除追平比數外更打亂對手節奏，蒙古隊最後兩分接連打失，令中國香港隊扳回一局。第四局繼續打「逆境波」，甫開局落後0-5，但沈嵐繼續有好表現，決勝分打後排觸手出界，為中國香港隊扳平局數。決勝局獲主場球迷熱烈打氣下，保持領先優勢，終以局數 3：2 擊敗蒙古（23-25、23-25、28-26、25-23、15-11）。沈嵐取得全場最高30分，貢獻全場第二高26分的主攻詹穎琳表示：「我們在比賽初段比較緊張，但至第三局調整並打出自己的風格，而且一直沒有鬆懈，心態是致勝關鍵。」
力爭衛冕的中國隊緊接第二場賽事亮相，首局中段拉開7分下先拔頭籌，加上強力發球令韓國隊難以組織攻勢，最終以局數 3：0（25-15、25-16、25-13）取勝。4次發球直接得分的主將趙喆熙，與隊長李晨瑄合共取得26分，而曾於今年6月參與世界女排聯賽香港站的單琳倩亦取得9分，協助球隊取得開門紅。
「2025亞洲東區女子排球錦標賽」明日（8月28日）進行小組賽最後一輪賽事。首戰於下午5時30分舉行，中國澳門隊將與中國隊交鋒。中國香港隊則於晚上8時對陣中華台北隊。

(27 August 2025, Hong Kong) The 2025 Asian Eastern Zonal Women’s Volleyball Championship (2025AEZ), organized by the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China, continued with its second day of matches today (27 August) at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong. With the strong support of home fans, Team Hong Kong, China played their first match in Group A and came back to win over Team Mongolia in a five-set saga. Having secured a spot in the semi-final, they will face Team Chinese Taipei tomorrow for the first place in the group. Team China, the defending champion, also made their debut in Group B and started off with a shutout victory against Team Korea.
Team Hong Kong, China struggled under the pressure of playing at home soil in the first two sets, narrowly losing both sets by just two points. In the third set, despite trailing by four points, they managed to regroup and even overtake at one stage. Although they missed two set-point and allowed Mongolia to push the set into deuce, even falling behind 25–26 and on the brink of defeat. SHUM Lam, Team Hong Kong, China opposite, held her nerve, executing a decisive spike off the block to level the score. Team Mongolia then committed consecutive attacking errors, allowing Team Hong Kong, China to pull one set back. In the fourth set, the team once again faced adversity, conceding an early 0–5 deficit. SHUM Lam continued her fine form and sealed the set with another back-row attack, bringing the match to two sets apiece. With strong support from the home crowd in the decisive fifth set, the team maintained their lead and eventually triumphed 3:2 over Mongolia (23–25, 23–25, 28–26, 25–23, 15–11). SHUM Lam scored a game-high 30 points. CHIM Wing Lam, outside hitter, who contributed 26 points as the second highest in the match, said, "We were a bit nervous early in the match, but we adjusted our gameplay and found our rhythm by the third set. We maintained our focus until the very end without letting up – that mindset was key to our victory."
Team China, aiming to defend their title, made their debut in the second match. They seized the first set after establishing a seven-point lead midway through and dominated with powerful serves that disrupted Team Korea's offensive rhythm. Ultimately, Team China secured a shutout victory of 3:0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-13). Star player Zhao Zhexi, who recorded 4 aces, contributed a combined total 26 points with Captain Li Chenxuan. Shan Linqian, who had participated in the Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong 2025 in June this year, scored 9 points to help the team start their campaign with a convincing win.
The final round of 2025AEZ group stage will be held tomorrow (28 August). The first serve of the opening match is at 17:30, with Team Macau, China playing against Team China. Team Hong Kong, China will then face Team Chinese Taipei in the second match at 20:00.
