2024粵港澳大灣區青少年排球邀請賽暨代表隊集訓交流計劃
香港男、女子成年、青年及少年排球代表隊昨日(23日)啟程前往廣東省江門市進行集訓及交流計劃,行程期間將到訪中國排球協會排球訓練基地江門體育中心,接受技術及體能訓練。青年及少年代表隊更會參與粵港澳大灣區青少年排球邀請賽(下稱邀請賽),與不同球隊透過比賽互相交流技術,累積比賽經驗,為明年11月的第15屆中華人民共和國全國運動會(下稱第15屆全運會)備戰。
是次集訓交流計劃是首次集合男、女子成年、青年及少年六支代表隊所有成員,參與人數逾120人。男、女子成年代表隊將於23至26日於當地集訓,而青年及少年代表隊則於23至27日進行集訓,於28及29日參加邀請賽,對手包括中國內地大學及中學校隊。除了排球訓練,文化交流亦是是次活動其中一環,青年代表隊成員將到訪當地的華僑博物館及梁啟超故居。
隨團出發的女子成年代表隊領隊石徐惠芬表示:「透過參與是次代表隊集訓交流計劃暨邀請賽,我們期望能為球員提供系統化及適切的體能訓練,為第15屆全運會提前做好準備。另外,青年及少年代表隊有機會參與邀請賽,可以與不同風格的球隊較量,實在是難得的實戰經驗。與內地球隊交手後,他們必定有所得著。」

2024 Greater Bay Youth Volleyball Invitational & Squad Team Exchange Scheme
Hong Kong Senior, Junior Men’s and Women’s as well as Boys’ and Girl’s Youth Volleyball Team left for Jiangmen, Guangdong yesterday (23 Dec) to participate in the Squad Team Exchange Scheme, and visited the training centre of China Volleyball Association, Jiangmen Sports Centre, with skills and fitness training. The Junior and Youth Teams will also take part in the Greater Bay Youth Volleyball Invitational ("the Invitational"), exchanging with different teams through matches and gaining experience, to prepare for the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China ("the 15th National Games") in next November.
With more than 120 players and officials joining the scheme, this is the first exchange scheme which integrates members from the Senior, Junior and Youth Teams at the same time. The Senior Men’s and Women’s Teams will participate in the training session from 23-26 December, while the Junior and Youth Teams will participate in the training sessions from 23-27 December, and joining the Invitational from 28 & 29 December, that playing against teams from universities and secondary schools in mainland China. Apart from volleyball training, cultural exchange is also an integral part of this Scheme, the Junior Teams will visit the Overseas Chinese Museum and the former residence of famous politician Liang Qichao.
Mrs. SHEK TSUI Wai Fun Marina, Team Manager of the Senior Women’s Team, said “We hope to provide a systematic and appropriate physical training for the players by joining this exchange scheme, and to prepare for the 15th National Games. Additionally, the Junior and Youth Teams have the opportunity to participate in the Invitational, where they can compete with teams in different styles. This is truly a rare practical experience. After playing against teams from the mainland, they are sure to gain valuable insights.”
