國際排聯宣布取消「FIVB世界排球聯賽2020」

國際排球聯會（國際排聯）於上周五（5月8日）宣布，鑒於新冠肺炎疫情在全球持續傳播，在與世界排球聯賽理事會、國際排聯行政委員會及各主辦方進行商討後，決定取消「FIVB世界排球聯賽2020」。

原定於2020年6月9至11日在香港體育館舉行之「FIVB世界女排聯賽香港2020」為「FIVB世界排球聯賽2020」其中一分站賽事。因應上述國際排聯之決定，「FIVB世界女排聯賽香港2020」將不會重辦。國際排聯表示，將繼續與各方面緊密聯繫，以籌備「FIVB世界排球聯賽2021」之賽期。

FIVB announces cancellation of  

“FIVB Volleyball Nations League 2020”

The Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (＂FIVB＂) announced on last Friday (8 May 2020) that due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, the VNL Council, the FIVB Board of Administration and the event organisers, jointly agreed to cancel this year’s edition of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2020.

The “FIVB Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong 2020”, originally held on 9-11 June 2020 in the Hong Kong Coliseum, is one of the pools in the Preliminary Round of “FIVB Volleyball Nations League 2020”. Regarding the announcement of FIVB, the “FIVB Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong 2020”will not be reorganised. The FIVB also announced that they are continuing to work closely with all parties to coordinate the schedule for the VNL 2021.
