「FIVB世界女排聯賽香港2020」

比賽延期通知

鑒於新冠肺炎疫情在全球蔓延，國際排球聯會(國際排聯)宣布，在與所有參與的排球協會和有關方面密切協商後，並經行政管理委員會批准，已決定將2020年世界排球聯賽延期至2020東京奧運會之後舉行。國際排聯將與相關國家排球協會及賽事承辦方協同合作，尋求合適的比賽日期。

因應上述國際排聯之決定，原定於2020年6月9-11日舉行之「FIVB世界女排聯賽香港2020」將會取消，以保障運動員、球迷和一眾工作人員的健康。本會將積極與國際排聯密切聯繫，以研究重辦比賽之可行性。

Postponement of

“FIVB Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong 2020”

After giving due consideration to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (＂FIVB＂) had announced that in close consultation with all participating National Federations and relevant authorities, and with the approval of the FIVB Board of Administration, the FIVB had decided to postpone the Volleyball Nations League (＂VNL＂) 2020 until after the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The FIVB is looking to the future with optimism, and is working closely with the relevant National Federations and event organisers to find an appropriate date to host the VNL.

Regarding the announcement of FIVB, the “FIVB Volleyball Nations League Hong Kong 2020”, which originally to be held on 9-11 June 2020, is cancelled to ensure the health and well-being of athletes, officials and fans. The Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China (“VBAHK”) will actively liaise closely with FIVB to study the feasibility of resuming the tournament in other dates.
